Kuppersbusch completed the installation of two modular Premium Line suites at the new boutique hotel, Blythswood Square in the heart of Glasgow.
On the site of the old Scottish RAC Club, the building has retained the original facade whilst being completely renovated internally and now offers 100 bedroom, banqueting & conference facilities and state-of-the-art Health Spa.
Working in conjunction with the Vision Commercial Kitchens and the hotel development team, Kuppersbusch helped with the design of the cooking suites, taking careful consideration over the selection of equipment to ensure that the brigade had the perfect environment in which to prepare and cook the diverse menu.
The Theatre Kitchen on the ground floor serves the restaurant in what was originally the Ballroom. The suite, which includes induction solid top hobs with ovens under, is complemented by a Kuppersbusch Convect Air Professional Combi Oven and diners can view the team working behind the bar. Downstairs, the basement kitchen, handles preparation for the Theatre Kitchen and also handles the hotels conference and banqueting needs. The suite in this kitchen includes the Maxi Oven - a full width oven under a six burner range, allowing larger quantities to be produced with ease.
Managing Director Hans Rissmann says one of the reasons behind the decision to use Kuppersbusch lay in the eye for detail and personal attention afforded to the project both before and after installation.
